Wellness mascot Hi. My name is Mr. Will B. Well and I'm the Mascot for the UDS 2008 Wellness Program. I would like to explain our next Wellness activity.



May 8, 2008 - Congratulations to our winners in the Biggest Loser Contest!!

Bill Kepner lost 27 lbs and Megan Echterling lost 11 inches during the 12 week contest. There were 22 participants and 11 people lost weight and 5 lost inches. The Wellness Committee congratulates all our participants for their effort and committment to a healthier lifestyle.


UDS BIGGEST LOSER CONTEST

The contest starts February 1, 2008 and will run for 3 months.

Your first weigh in and measure date will be:
Thursday, February 7th @ Noon
Corporate office conference room – Building #1

A member of the Wellness Committee will be available to sign you in, record your data and answer any questions you might have.

Each week following you will report to the same place, same time and your weight and measurements will be documented using a percentage figure.

At the end of the contest, THE BIGGEST LOSER will be the one who lost the highest percentage of weight and/or inches.
The final weigh in date will be Thursday, May 1, 2008 @ noon, after final tabulations we will announce the winner.

WINNER will receive:
$25.00 Secret Sneaker gift card
 $50.00 in Jerry Bucks
Completion of a Wellness Activity

Anyone who has signed up for the 2008 UDS Wellness Challenge may participate and if you haven’t signed up, contact your Supervisor and sign-up prior to the start of the contest. Good Luck!

Just a reminder that you may sign-up for participation in the 2008 UDS Wellness Challenge anytime throughout the year.  The more time you give yourself, the more challenges you can complete and the more Wellness funds you earn. 

Mascot for Wellness Program
I'd like to congratulate and thank Megan Echterling, Megan EchterlingUDS AC Service Coordinator, winner of the "Name our Mascot" contest. She submitted the entry, "Mr. Will B. Well" and has won $25.00 in "Jerry Bucks", her picture in the company newsletter and an appearance with me on the UDS website.

It's a really great name and I look forward to my role as mascot for the UDS 2008 Wellness Program.
