Visited by participants of CHOICES for lunch on September 12, 2007. There were 10 people in their group, 5 people were using wheelchairs.

A) What makes this venue a place to recommend? They have good seafood.
B) What does this venue have that would attract tourists? The food.
C) Would this venue be a place of entertainment for all members of the family? Adults and families.
D) Is there adequate general parking? Yes Accessible? The lot is down the street.
E) Is there an accessible entrance? If so, where is it located? Yes, in the rear of the restaurant through the kitchen.
F) How is the wheelchair seating or viewing area for this place? Average
G Are ramps along the general pedestrian flow? Yes Were ramp slopes reasonably useable? Yes
H) Is the entire establishment accessible? And if not, what area (s) are not? No. You can't access the restrooms downstairs but there is an accessible restroom upstairs. Front entrance to building is not accessible.
I) Are adaptive devices and/or assistance provided for the visually impaired ? They offer a menu in Braille
J) Are there accessible stalls in the bathrooms? 1 large restroom
Are the restrooms kept clean? Yes
How are the toilet seats set up? Left and front access
K) Are there floor areas located throughout the establishment to allow a person using a wheelchair to reverse directions and turn around? Tables are close together.
L) Are sinks accessible? Yes
M) Could a person get trapped if alone in the restroom? No I don't believe so.
N) Do the staff of the establishment treat you like a competent and capable customer whose business they value? Our waitress treated us very well.
O) Additional comments: One of our consumers said they felt singled out because of not being able to use the same entrance as everyone else. Two other consumers did not like having to go through the kitchen in the back to get into the dining room. There were obstacles in the kitchen blocking access. The floor was wet and someone with limited mobility could easily fall.
