A) What makes this venue a place to recommend? The theater is Historic and has beautiful decor.
B) What does this venue have that would attract tourists? Ghosts, The History of the Theater; The Historical posters throughout the building.
C) Would this venue be a place of entertainment for all members of the family? Yes
D) Is there adequate general parking? No (however, downtown Lancaster offers parking garages) Accessible? Yes
E) Is there an accessible entrance and if so, where is it located? The main entrance was accessible
F) How is the wheelchair seating or viewing area for this place? Excellent
G) Are ramps along the general pedestrian flow? Yes Were ramp slopes reasonable useable? Yes Were elevators available? Yes, just not along general flow of pedestrian traffic.
H) Is the entire establishment accessible? And if not, what area(s) are not? Yes, fully accessible
I) Are adaptive devices and/or assistance provided for the visually impaired ? Programs provided to interpret and describe the action on stage.
J) Are adaptive devices and/or assistance provided for the hearing impaired? Yes
K) Are there accessible stalls in the bathrooms? Yes
L) Are there floor areas located throughout the establishment to allow a person using a wheelchair to reverse directions and turn around? Yes
M) Are sinks accessible? Yes Is turning 360° in a wheelchair possible? Yes
N) Could a person get trapped if alone in the restroom? No Are the restrooms kept clean? Yes
O) Additional comments: We had a wonderful visit. The staff were very courteous and treated us like competent and capable customers. It was a beautiful theater, fully accessible for all disabilities.
