Now offering UDS Basic Obedience Classes for your favorite canine!

Want a happy, well-behaved dog?

Get proven methods and techniques for building a healthy relationship with your pooch from UDS Service Dogs.  A new offering to the community, UDS Basic Obedience Classes help your dog be his best.

The UDS Independent Living Resource Center is here to help. Our knowledgeable care managers understand the often-complex system of government programs and agencies, as well as the services and programs that can enable you to live in the comfort of your own home. From the moment you call, you’ll connect with a caring independent living expert who can get you information and support for your unique needs and situation.

In six fun, hands-on sessions, you and your dog will learn:
  • How to better communicate
  • Basic obedience instructions - sit, down, come, heel, stay, etc.
  • Socialization with other dogs and people

Thursdays, 5 pm - 6 pm

March 15th thru April 19th

You'll work directly with the trainers who prepare the UDS Service Dogs to master dozens of challenging commands in order to serve as companions and assistants to people with disabilities in our community. One-on-one training also available.
