Here to serve you
UDS Independent Living Service, licensed under the Pennsylvania Department of Health, offers a wide range of in-home, non-medical, personal care services to elderly people with physical or other disabilities and those recovering from an injury in need of limited assistance. We can also provide personal care and support services to individuals in retirement homes, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities.
We are particularly proud of the quality of services we provide to our clients, whether short term or ongoing. Our caregivers are reliable and compassionate. All caregivers are trained, bonded, insured and receive PA State Police criminal background checks. We are certified with the Department of Welfare through the Schuylkill and Luzerne County Offices for Senior Services and the Carbon County Area Agency on Aging.
Services offered
UDS Independent Living Services can meet just about any personal care service need. We have a one-and a half hour minimum, but no long-term requirements. And we are flexible to your changing needs. So, whether it's just one and a half hours a day, three days a week or 24-hour in-home personal care, we can meet your need. Depending on your needs and financial situation, our in-home personal care services may be paid privately or by your insurance. And in many cases, these services are funded through medical assistance money available from the state. Call for more information about need assessment procedures and funding assistance eligibility.
