Giving to UDS
Endowment Fund
UDS has created an Endowment Fund to sustain the organization well into the future. A strong endowment fund will continue the 40 year legacy of providing a variety of services to thousands of our friends and neighbors with disabilities, the elderly and veterans throughout central and eastern Pennsylvania.
A contribution to our Endowment Fund, along with other types of contributions like Planned Gifts are typically components of long term income and estate plans. These contributions take many forms including: cash, securities, other appreciated assets, personal property, bequests, life insurance and charitable remainder trusts.
The UDS legacy
As we enter into our 40th year, United Disabilities Services wants to assure that expressions of appreciation continue for another 40 years. Growing the UDS Endowment Fund will continue the legacy of providing a variety of services to thousands of our friends and neighbors with disabilities, the elderly and veterans throughout central and eastern Pennsylvania.

Medicaid regulations are requiring a policy change in how some consumer-directed attendant care services are paid for. The change will reduce the amount UDS is paid to provide services. This could make it financially impossible for UDS and other provider agencies to deliver services after the proposed changes are implemented.
We need to make

and legislators
understand what
this will do.
