In-Home Personal Care

UDS offers a wide range of in-home non-medical personal services to people with disabilities including veterans and the elderly who are in need of limited assistance to make their lives easier and fuller. We also arrange for personal emergency response systems, as well as provide personal care and caregiver support services to individuals in alternative housing, retirement homes, assisted living and nursing facilities.

Whether short term or ongoing, we can assist in all aspects of our clients' lives, providing personalized care that enables them to stay in their home and carry out functions of self-care and daily living. Our caregivers are reliable and compassionate. They are trained, bonded, insured, and they must clear PA State Police criminal and child abuse background checks.

Respite for family caregiver
Even the most dedicated family caregiver needs some time off, whether to relax, vacation, deal with personal matters, or attend an out-of-town business function. It's comforting to have reliable, caring UDS professionals to turn to when the need arises.

We are flexible
Our services can be customized to meet just about any need, whether it's just one-hour a day, three days a week or 24-hour daily service. We have a one-hour minimum, but no long-term requirements. Our services may be paid by you or your insurance, and depending on client need assessment and funding-assistance eligibility, payment is often funded through state and federal programs.
