Program Manager – AE Program

General Summary

Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Accessing Independence (AI), the Program Manager for our Adult Enrichment Program provides overall leadership for the day-to-day activities and services provided through the Adult Enrichment program.  The Program Manager ensures that the goals and purpose of the program are accomplished efficiently and effectively.  This position is responsible for maintaining compliance with all agency and department-specific policies and procedures, as well as all relevant legal and regulatory issues.  The Program Manager is also responsible for prompt and effective intervention in conflict situations, assisting with resolutions as appropriate.

Education

In accordance with the 2380 regulations: Master’s degree or above from an accredited college/university and 2 years work experience in administration or the human services field; or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university and 4 years work experience in administration or the human services field.

Experience

Previous experience in the administration of an adult day care or adult recreational setting.  Two years supervisory experience plus experience working with people with physical disabilities is preferred.
